In my opinioins opinion, three main factors are blame for are to blame for/are responsible for the way that young people behave at school nowadays. Firstly, modern parents tend to be too lenient or permissive. Students are accustomed to get getting whatever they want, and they find it difficult to accept demands of teachers of limits posed imposed on them by school rules. Second, if teathers teachers cannot control their students, there must be an issue on classroom management training or support within school. Thirdly, students are influenced by the behaviours of celebrities, many of whom set the example that success can be achieved without finishing school.

Secondly, teachers may lack adequate training in classroom management or sufficient support from school administrators, making it difficult for them to maintain discipline.

Student behaviours can certainly be improved. I believe that the first step must be taken by parents, who need to be persuaded that it is important to set firm rule rules for their children. When children misbehave or make mistakes, parents should use reasonable punishment to demonstrate that actions has have consequences. Also, School could play an important role in training teachers and parents to use efficient disciplinary technique effective disciplinary techniques, and in improving the communication between both groups. At the same time, famous people, such as musician musicians and football players, need to understand the responsibility that they have to act as role models to children.

It is ture true that editors have difficult decisions about which news stories to publish or broadcast, and their choices are no doubt influnced influenced by a variety of factors. In my opinion, people are exposed to too much bad news, and I would welcome a great emphisis emphasis on good news.

Editors has have a range of considerations when choosing which news stories to focus on. Firstly, I imagine they have to consider whether their content is interesting enough to attract the readers or viewers away from competing providers. Secondly, news editors has a responsibility to inform the public about important issues and events, and they should therefore prioritise stories that are in the public interest. Finally, editors are also under the pressure from their owners media owners who hire employ them. For example, a newspaper owner might have a particular political view that he or she wants to promote.

It seems to me that we do become accustomed to negative news stories. We are exposed on a daily basic basis to war, crime s, natural disasters, and trafic tragic of people human suffering around the world. I believe that this exposure gradually disensitises desensitise us, and it makes us more cynical about the word and more scepticle that we can do anything to change it. I would prefer positive news stories, such as the reports about the work of medical stuff after a natural disaster, or the kindness of volunteers who helped in their communities. I think this good news can inspire us all to lead better lifes lives.

WRITING TASK 2 You should spend about 40 minutes on this task.

Write about the following topic:

There is a lot of pressure on young people today to succeed academically. As a result, some people believe that non-academic subjects, such as physical education and cookery, should be removed from the school syllabus so that children can concentrate on academic work.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge and experience.

It is argued that Some people argue that if we should remove all non-academic subjects from school since young people are under high pressure from pressure to succeed succeed academically nowadays. It seems to me, I don’t agree disagree to remove all other non-academic subjects and only keep academic courses in syllabus.

Yong people facing high pressure to achieve succeed academically, and some people argue that we should remove all non-academic subjects from the school syllabus. I disagree with this opinion since these subjects can not only supports students' well-being, but also develop their practical talents that benefits both individuals and society.

There are three reasons that I would explain why we shouldn’t remove non-academic subjects. Firstly, as we know that different people have different hobbies and talents. Those non-academic subjects, such as physical education and cookery, can not only expand our knowledge, but also grow different hobbies develop different interests for our students. Secondly, some students are not very good at academic subjects, and these students can be a cookiests chefs/cooks in resturants restaurants or workers in manufactors factories/manufacturing. We cannot expect all our students to become lawyers, teachers, or doctors. Finally, the purpose of education is to help students to find meanings of meaning in their lifes, and to make sure they are skilled and ready to enjoy their new life after +gradurated after graduating / after they graduated from school.

There exist some bad aspects if we only keep academic subjects in school syllabus. On the one hand, students can feel very tedious bored(“bored” is people’s fell,“tedious” is about things)= if only academic subjects are keeped. For example, when I was a student, I usually spent some time on my hobbies, such as sporting or cooking, to make me feel relaxing after long boring tedious study. On the other hand, our society needs all kinds of people with different abilities. We need dortor doctor and teachers of course, but we also need workers, waiters and chiefs chefs. All different skills are needed to run the society smoothly enable society to function smoothly.

In conclusion, even...but..., although... cannot use simultaneously even academics are very important for human future, but we also need to expand our student’s students' knowledge, and our society needs all kinds of ability people with a wide range of abilities, like that all small nails are equally import important for a big machin machine to run. Thus I think we shouldn’t remove those non-academic subjects from the school syllabus.

A friend told you recently that he/she had gone to an excellent restaurant. You wonder if this restaurant will be suitable for your birthday party next week.
Write a letter to your friend. In your letter
- tell your friend about your planned party
- ask what the restaurant is called and for directions to get there
- ask what kind of food it serves and if your friend has any particular recommendations from the menu
You should write at least 150 words.

Dear Pat,

Next month is my birthday, and I have a difficult decision about which restaurant am trying to decide which restaurant to choose for my birthday party. Last week you told me that you had a very memorable experience in an excellent restaurant. So I wonder if you can tell me anything about that restaurant in detail tell me more about the restaurant.

How are you? I’m planning a birthday dinner next Saturday for around ten friends, but I haven’t chosen a venue yet. I remembered the excellent restaurant you told me about recently and wondered whether it might be suitable for a group of this size.

The first thing is where the restaurant is and how I can find it. I’m not sure if you can remember the position details exact location, but if possible, I hope you can tell me the name and the directions to get there. Also, can you tell me how you get there, such as by bus, uber, or just walk there by bus, by Uber or on foot?

Could you remind me of its name and tell me exactly where it is? I would also appreciate some directions from the town centre. Is it easy to reach by bus, or would taking an Uber be more convenient? Please also let me know whether it is within walking distance.

The second thing is about the food in that restaurant. If you remember, could you tell me what kind of food it serves, and if you and your friends have any recommendations about the food menu any dishes you would recommend?

I’m also curious about the food. What kind of cuisine does the restaurant serve? Is there a particular dish on the menu that you would recommend? It would also be helpful to know whether it offers vegetarian options, as two of my guests do not eat meat.

I would be very thankful I’d really appreciate it if you could give me any information about that restaurant, and I look forward to your reply.

Thanks in advance for your help. Once I have these details, I’ll contact the restaurant to make a reservation. I really hope you can come to the party too!

Best wishes, Mary

In the last decade, there has been a great increase in global air travel.
What do you think are the reasons for this and do you think it is a good thing?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge and experience.

It is true that more and more people are choosing global air travel in the last decade. There are many reasons that result in this phenomenon reasons for this trend and I think it’s a good thing for both personality beneficial to individuals and our society.

It is true that more and more people have chosen to travel internationally by air over the last decade. There are several reasons for this trend, and I believe that it is generally a positive development for both individuals and society.

The most and first reason The first and most important reason for increased global air travel is the rapid development of our technology and factory aviation technology and aircraft manufacturing. Air plane appeared about 200 years ago, but it was not safe enough to be used for travelling, and also, we didn’t have enough power and factories to produce enough planes for each country. But now everyone can take a flight by buing a flight ticket. Secondly, the cooperation between different countries and commercial companies became more frequently have become more frequent, which increases the air travel. For example, when two companies need to sign a contract, sometimes the leaders need to meet in person and in time, and the easiest way is to take a flight for them to arrive the destination arrive at/reach their destination. Finally, many people are curious about our world. Since it’s very convenient to take a flight, many people choose to experience different cluture cultures when they have spare time.

The first and most important reason for the increase in global air travel is the rapid development of aviation technology and aircraft manufacturing. These advances have made flying safer and cheaper, while airlines now offer more routes. As a result, many more people can afford to travel by air. Secondly, international cooperation and business activities have become more frequent, creating greater demand for flights. For example, when two companies need to sign a contract, their representatives may have to meet in person at short notice, and flying is often the quickest way to reach their destination. Finally, many people are curious about the world. Because flying is convenient, they can visit distant countries and experience different cultures during their holidays.

I think that the increased air travel is a good thing for both ourself ourselves/individuals and our society. In one aspect, taking a flight can significantly save the time in travel reduce travel time. For example, we only have only 15 or 20 days for our vocation vacation/holiday each year, and we can tour to very far places travel to distant places if we choose air travel. In another, the increase in air travel can in ture turn help to develope develop air technology. The more we pay for flight tickets, the air company airline would have more money to develop new air technology aviation technology.

I believe that the growth of air travel benefits both individuals and society. For individuals, flying significantly reduces travel time. Many workers receive only 15 or 20 days of annual leave, but air travel allows them to visit distant places within a short holiday. For society, increased air travel supports international business and tourism, creating employment in airlines, airports, hotels and restaurants. The more people travel by air, the more revenue airlines earn, allowing them to invest in safer and more efficient aircraft. Although flying contributes to pollution, I believe that these benefits make its overall growth positive, particularly if the industry continues to develop cleaner technology.

In conclusion, people choose air travel nowadays more than decades ago, and I think it’s the trend of our society social development and good for our future.

In conclusion, air travel has grown because advances in technology have made it safer and more affordable, while business and tourism have become increasingly international. In my view, this is a positive trend because it saves time and supports economic development, although its environmental effects must be controlled.
